What Are The Steps to Become a Driving Instructor?
The process to become an ADI is structured and rewarding. Here’s what you’ll go through:
DVSA Application and Background Check:
Start by applying to the DVSA and completing an enhanced DBS check. We guide you through each step to ensure your application to become a driving instructor is smooth and stress-free.
Part 1 - Theory Test:
This multiple-choice and hazard perception test will assess your knowledge of road safety, instructional techniques, and driving laws. Our ADI course includes full access to mock tests and revision tools to help you prepare.
Part 2 - Driving Ability Test:
This practical test evaluates your driving skills. You must demonstrate a high level of competence and control across various road types. Our ADI training covers all the required skills and includes mock driving tests.
Part 3 - Instructional Ability Test:
