The steps of the journey
There are five steps to acquiring your licence and thus your driving freedom.
Provisional licence
Before you can even start an engine you need a provisional driving licence. You can apply online or by post. It can be applied for from the link below
Theory test
This is a test of your road knowledge and rules. It consists of 50 multiple choice questions and 14 hazard perception videos
Driving lessons
These can start as soon as you have received your provisional licence. They can vary in how many you need as everyone learns at different paces
Driving test
The culmination of your hard work. This is to test you have the required car control and road understanding to be a safe driver for life

Test rescue mini courses
Failed your test with another school and want to try something else, we can help.
Refresher & eco driving lessons
Passed your test a while ago and not driven since? No problem, we can help you back into driving with a refresher course. We also offer eco driving lessons to help you improve your driving and fuel consumption.
Theory lessons
We offer theory lessons either in car or over zoom for those in need of some extra help with the theory test
Motorway & Pass plus
We offer motorway lessons (3 hr session) or pass plus courses (6 hrs), both designed as post test training. Some insurance companies offer discounts for pass plus certification
F.A.Q.
Here are some of the common questions we get asked by people enquiring for driving lessons
All you need is a valid provisional licence. If you don’t have one you can apply for one HERE
There is no rule of thumb as everyone picks up new skills at different speeds. As a general guide the DVSA state that the average test is passed with 44hrs hours training with an ADI and 22hrs private practice.
No you can start your lessons at anytime. You simply need to have passed your theory test in order to be able to book you practical test. Ww always recommend you start your theory as soon as possible so it doesn’t cause delays down the line.
You can apply for your first provisional licence from the age of 15 years and 9 months old. But you cannot have your first actual driving lesson until you are 17 years old.
We know people lead busy lives and things change so our instructors will always try and be flexible where possible. As long as enough notice is given, you can change the time/day/location of your lesson/s.
We do offer indeed offer automatic lessons. We now have two automatic instructors.
Yes we have both male and female instructors. If you have a preference please let us know when messaging us and we’ll try to provide your preference, subject to location and availability.
Currently we are not able to offer any intensive driving courses due to a lack of instructor availability for such courses.
