You may be aware from the media and our recent news posts, the DVSA has bought in 3 major changes to the way driving tests are now booked and managed.
The third and final change was effective from today, 9th June. You can only change to one of 3 pre allocated tests centres local to the original booking.
For us in Lincoln, these are;
Grantham, Worksop and Nottingham (Colwick) – all about 30 miles from Lincoln
Please also be aware, the DVSA are clamping down on tests booked via third party apps such as Testi.
People who have used these apps to book, manage or get cancellation tests have started receiving emails from the DVSA. These state they may loose this test, and/or ability to use the system for a set time, for a breach of test booking T&Cs.
They are also approaching the app stores directly at Apple and Android to have these apps removed. This will then risk leaving the candidate with no cancellation service which they have paid for and no test potentially
